Amir Tohidi
Post-Doctoral Researcher
Amir Tohidi is a post-doctoral researcher in the CSSLab. Considered broadly, Amir is a Computational Social Scientist. He studies human behavior and how it interacts with information systems and media. Amir’s research combines economic and behavioral insights with advanced computational methods in causal inference and machine learning to tackle important managerial problems or answer questions of general interest in the social sciences.
Amir received his Ph.D in Social and Engineering Systems, and Statistics from the MIT institute for Data, Systems, and Society. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Electrical Engineering and Physics from Sharif University of Technology.
